Just before the Christmas break, Graham from TREE visited our class and kindly gave us all a bird house to take home. We spent a lot of time decorating our houses with colourful paint and we were very proud of the finished results. What do you think?
We also made festive bird feeders to take home to place in our own gardens to help the birds find food in the winter months. We decorated recycled drinking cups, making them look like reindeer and filled them with homemade bird-feed using margarine, flour and crumbed biscuits. It was nice to do something to help our local wildlife!
