P5 Are Investigating the Weather
28th Sep 2022
As part of our World Around Us topic, P5 have designed an experiment to investigate the weather, where we live, over the next 4 weeks. The children predicted what the weather would be like. We made a rain gauge to record how much rain falls outside school, we learned how to read a compass and the Beaufort Scale, to help measure the wind speed and direction and we examined weather symbols, and how to read a thermometer to investigate temperature. We started our experiment today and we will use the finished results to create bar graphs in maths.
