P5 at The Ulster Museum

16th May 2024

Primary Five had a wonderful day at the Ulster Museum. We began the day with a walk over in the sunshine, followed by a workshop on the Ancient Egyptians when we arrived. The children got to examine artefacts that were thousands of years old and got to build upon their knowledge. They also got to guess jobs of the Ancient Egyptians by solving clues using artefacts on display. We couldn't visit the museum without a quick visit to the mummified body of Takibuti. This was a highlight for many of the class. We also had a look at the other exhibitions on display before a play around in Botanic gardens and a purchase or two in the gift shop.
Once again, P5 were excellent representatives of our school and are to be commended for their wonderful behaviour. A really enjoyable, and memorable, day out.
