As part of our World Around Us topic, P5 visited the Ulster Museum today to find out more about the Ancient Egyptians. The children took part in a hands on educational talk, when they got to examine artefacts and discuss what life was like in Egypt thousands of years ago. They also got a tour of the Nature Zone followed by a visit to see Takabuti, the famous Egyptian mummy. The class were wonderfully enthusiastic and engaged and they did a fabulous job of representing our school. A great day out.
