P5 Celebrate World Book Day
7th Mar 2024
Today, P5 brought their slippers, had a cup of hot chocolate and enjoyed a biscuit whilst sharing their favourite book with a friend. We had time for silent reading and then shared a lovely book together called, ‘The Truth Pixie.’
The children also developed their persuasive writing techniques by creating their own chocolate bars. We had chocolate bars that could send us back in time, take us to the moon, help us teleport, give us the ability to talk to animals and even hear other people’s secrets. The children voted for their favourite chocolate bar and the winner was the Dog Friendly Fudgey Fudge Bar, a chocolate bar that you can share with your dog. What a great day we had celebrating books and our ability to read.
