We had a great day out at Tesco this morning going on their sugar trail. Sharon and Sarah gave us a tour around the store house and saw where all the stock deliveries were kept, including the storage fridge and freezer. We found out how much sugar was in some of the cereals we eat for breakfast, then we got the chance to make some healthy muesli to take home and try. We saw around the bakery and sealed our own bread rolls and used the Sugar Smart app to scan products in the store to reveal the sugar content. We definitely learned a lot and will have a think about eating less sugary foods from now on.
