Today, P5 has the pleasure of welcoming Chris, from Play It By Ear, into the classroom to lead us in a drama workshop. The workshop focused on emotions and the children took part in lots of fun activities to help improve their drama skills. They even made their own orchestra using their voices, it was amazing. Chris told the class that all emotions are ok and that we have the ability to choose how we respond to situations using our emotions. He taught the children some coping mechanisms to do so. It was such an engaging and fun morning and Chris praised the class for their listening skills and excellent participation. We hope to welcome Chris back to the school next year for more workshops. Special mention goes to Rachel’s mum who provided us with details about the workshop.
