P7H and P7M had a visit from Professor Fluffy on Monday. The Professor Fluffy programme is run by Queen's University and aims to raise awareness of Higher Education to Key Stage 2 children from all backgrounds. This is achieved through participation in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) activities.
P7 had the opportunity to experiment with a catapult to throw a ping pong ball the distance of 2 metres, as well as think about coding and the instructions an object needs to be given on a computer game or app to work as it should. We are looking forward to our visiting to Queen's University in May.
