Shannon from Red Cross visited Primary 6/7 and 7 today to talk about making people feel welcome. Today's workshop focused on refugees and the stigmas and stereotypes that are often associated with refugees. The children learned how to make people feel welcome and even how to get to know people that are different to them. These are essential life skills, that we will benefit our pupils as they transition into first year.
