During Science Week, P4/5 were discovering what happens to bones when placed in white vinegar. We kept a journal over 7 days to assess what happens to the bones. We found out that the acid in white vinegar removes the calcium from the bone and over the space of a week, the bone goes from being strong to soft and flexible.
