The Peace Island Project
Miss Wilson and I are so proud of the whole class. The children visited Our Lady's Girls' PS today to perform their Peace Island Project, which was ran through 'Beam'. This was a challenging project as the children had to design their own island, with a motto, flag, national style, national anthem and national holiday. They had to explain everything that they had chosen and then write and perform a song or rap and choreograph a dance. They prepared this all in just two days and this morning they performed it in front of the other school. They truly were wonderful. It was lovely to witness the children's confidence growing and it was a great opportunity for pupils to step out of their comfort zone and show off some talent. Well done guys.
