It has been an exciting day at DRPS as we had a celebratory morning for our new jungle mural which has been painted on the wall opposite the entrance to our school. This idea was first put into place when the Eco coordinator and GVRT discussed the idea last June. We wanted the children to play a key role in the design of the mural so we asked Tim an artist from the area to come in and get some drawings from the children. Tim recreated the children's drawings into paintings on the wall and this is now the mural. Thank you Tim.
This mural has made the environment outside our school much more fun and colourful and we hope that you enjoy viewing it as you pass by our school.
