Wonderful, Wonderful Pyramids!
P5/6 have been learning about the Ancient Egyptians and it is a topic that we have found really interesting, especially how the pyramids were built. The children were set a task to design and make their own pyramids, using any materials they liked. Mrs Annette was completely blown away by the work the children produced and they were so good that we decided to host an exhibition of our work, for other classes to come and view and ask questions about our pyramids. We played Egyptian music, displayed other artwork we had done in class; including cartouches and 3D nets of pyramids, and had a wonderful time showing all our hard work off to other children in the school. Mrs Annette would like to say a massive thank you and well done to the children who brought in their own pyramids! She is extremely proud of you and the effort you have put in!
