We had a lovely day in class celebrating World Book Day. We read the story of the Gruffalo in the woods around the campfire. We made paper plate creations and had juice and biscuits. We heard some children talk about the book they brought. We also loved taking part in a zoom drawing session where a local artist read his book and taught us how to draw a character from it. Then to finish the day we had a very exciting guest come to read to us….CAPTAIN UNDERPANTS!!!! We had so much fun wearing our slippers and having our teddies at school.
